If you’re diluting essential oils for skin use, some of the healthiest carrier oils are:

Dilution Guide
For adults:
1% dilution: 6 drops essential oil per ounce (30 mL) carrier oil
2% dilution: 12 drops per ounce
3% dilution: 18 drops per ounce
For sensitive skin, older adults, children, or frequent use; staying around 1–2% dilution is generally recommended
